Standard US garage door sizes
US garage doors come in a handful of standard sizes: a single door is usually 8×7 or 9×7 ft, and a double is 16×7 or 16×8 ft. Height is most often 7 ft, with 8 ft common on newer or SUV-friendly builds. These are labeled conventions — custom sizes exist and add cost. Use them with the cost-by-size and rough-opening tools.
